Who Can Join The Mentoring Project?
- Youth, ages 10-18, seeking a one-to-one partnership with a caring adult friend may apply
- Adults with energy and enthusiasm for working with youth may apply
What Do We Do?
- Mentors and mentees commit to spending four to five hours per month during non-school hours for at least one year
- The Mentoring Project provides gift cards for food and fun activities in our area
- Equipment (kayaks, canoes, and snowshoes) is also available
- There are some group activities in which to take part
- Walking, talking, or just hanging out together are also great activities
- On-going support and monitoring are provided by the Mentor Coordinator
