Who Can Join The Mentoring Project?

Youth, ages 10-18, seeking a one-to-one partnership with a caring adult friend may apply.
Adults aged 24 or over with energy and enthusiasm for working with youth may apply.

What Do We Do?

Mentors and mentees commit to spending five hours per month during non-school hours for at least one year.
The Mentoring Project provides gift cards for food and fun activities in our area.
Kayaks and personal flotation devices available.
There are at least four whole group activities per year in which to participate.
Walking, talking, or just hanging out together are also great activities.
On-going support and monitoring are provided by the Mentor Coordinator.
