The majority of the director’s time is spent directly supporting mentors and mentees — through one-on-one guidance, organizing program activities, and running the Teen Apprentice Program. This is the core of TMPUV’s mission.
Essential behind-the-scenes work: scheduling, emails, reporting, compliance, and record-keeping that ensure the organization runs smoothly.
Time invested in spreading awareness, engaging new mentors and mentees, and sharing TMPUV’s story through social media, community events, and marketing.
Collaboration with the TMPUV Board of Directors and Mentor Vermont on planning, reporting, and strategy to strengthen governance and accountability.
Researching, applying for, and managing grants to sustain and expand TMPUV’s programs, while also focusing on donor engagement, thank-yous, and fundraising campaigns such as the annual appeal—activities that, though smaller in scale, are vital for the organization’s long-term sustainability.
